Safari Nordik Adventures -[Barren Ground Caribou, Birds, Fishing] Safari Nordik hunts the Leaf River herd, which has had very little hunting pressure. Over the past three years, this most productive herd has produced a great number of record book animals scoring 400 or more points. It has also entitled Safari Nordik to an average of 1.90 bull caribou per hunter over the last ten years. Safari Nordik's high success rate is mainly due to the fact that all its camps are situated in prime caribou country, 35 miles apart. With over 30 camps, of which we only use nine or ten at one given time, Safari Nordik has a greater mobility and choice of camps to send hunters to.
