Wilderness Guide Service -[Moose Black
Bear, White Tailed Deer, Water Fowl]
We offer high quality, full service hunts for
trophy black bears in Northern Manitoba near the communities
of Thompson and Gillam. Our area is extremely remote and has
one of the largest concentrations of black bears in Manitoba,
a province that is known for its trophy bears. All hunts are
over active baits from safe tree stands. Hunters can hunt from
any of our approximately 40 baited sites. Sites are baited and
regularly maintained commencing at least one month before your
hunt to ensure active baits. We limit the number of hunters
each week to 2-4 with 2-4 guides in camp. Our hunts run over
a period of 6 weeks in the spring and 3 weeks in the fall .

MOOSE Hunts - Included in this packaged hunt
is moose, bear, wolf, & fishing. The camp is situated in northern
Manitoba, 116 air miles north of Thompson on the Churchill River
system & is accesible only by float plane. The area is remote
& vast with a limited number of huinters. This ensures a quality
hunt. ARCHERY DEER Hunts - Our camp is situated in the sourthern
Interlake area of Manitoba which is well known for trophy whitetails.
We take only 6 hunters per year which ensures each huinter gets
a quality hunt. WATER FOWL Hunts- Our camp is situated right
in the middle of southern Manitoba's prime bird hunting area,
with Oak Hammock Marsh, Lake Manitoba, Grant's Lake, & Shoal
Lakes surrounding us. We offer hunts for Canada, Snow, & Blue
Geese, along with ducks such as Mallards & Pintails. We also
offer a unique early season hunt for the Lesser & Greater Sandhill
Crane. Accomodations are at our farm in our licensed B & B.

Walkinshaw
Place -[Moose,
WhiteTail Deer, Waterfowl, Upland Game Birds]
Located in a prime area for waterfowl, upland
gamebirds and big game hunting in southwestern Manitoba, Walkinshaw
Place provides private accommodations for hunters. Located on
a 640 acre farm adjacent to the Turtle Mountain Provincial Park,
the spacious guesthome and cabin features five (5) guestrooms,
kitchen facilities for guest use and large main floor common
areas. Facilities are provided for dressing and storing game.
Migratory waterfowl, ducks and geese, are plentiful in the Whitewater
Lake area only minutes away and upland gamebirds make the surrounding
prairie their home. The Turtle Mountains provide excellent habitant
for whitetail deer. A moose hunt draw is also held annually
for this area. Registered guests are given hunting permission
on this prime hunting property. Walkinshaw Place provides four
(4) star deluxe accommodations (MVCA Rating) but does not provide
guiding services.
