The
Eastern provinces of Canada; also referred to as the Atlantic provinces
are more popular for moose, caribou and Black Bear especially Newfoundland
and Labrador with Canada's most dense moose population. In addition,
Labrador shares the rights to the world's largest caribou herd with
the province of Quebec. Nova Scotia and New Brunswick host a fairly
large population of white tail deer, with the latter being one of
Canada's best destinations for White tail deer hunting. Nova Scotia
also offers great black bear hunting. The Waterfowl hunting capital
of the Atlantic provinces would have to be Prince Edward Island.

Central
Canada, referred to here as Ontario, Manitoba and Saskatchewan are
common areas in Canada to hunt for white tail deer, upland gamebirds,
moose and black bear. Northern Ontario and Manitoba are excellent
destinations for moose and bear hunting, while Saskatchewan holds
the world record for white tail deer. Upland gamebirds and waterfowl
are "not" a rare species to be hunted in any of these

In
the West, which includes the far north (Yukon - North West Territories
- Nunavut) Alberta and British Columbia, nonresident hunters have
enjoyed hunting moose, elk and white tail deer for many years. British
Columbia (BC) moose are considered to be some of the largest in
Canada and often referred to as "Alaskan sized trophies".
BC grizzly bear hunts have entertained many avid hunters throughout
the years and the province remains one of Canada's best hunting
grounds for Grizzly. Alberta offers an excellent white tail deer
hunt and also great moose hunting in the northern parts. Southern
Alberta is most common for waterfowl hunting. The northern territories
of Canada host a large population of Caribou and black bear. In
addition, the Yukon Territories which borders Alaska offer great
opportunities to hunt moose. (click
